Private Online Tutoring
Individual attention and instruction focused entirely on your child’s learning needs.
Some students make their strongest progress with undivided attention. Bloom Private Online Tutoring pairs your child with an assigned Bloom tutor for one-to-one instruction in reading/ELA or math, with pacing, content, and goals shaped entirely around your child.
Who This Program Serves
Private tutoring is well suited for students who:
Benefit from one-to-one support and a quieter, more focused learning environment
Need an individualized pace, whether moving more slowly through foundational skills or accelerating beyond grade level
Require more intensive instruction to close a significant gap in reading/ELA or math
Have scheduling needs that do not align with small-group offerings
Are preparing for a specific academic transition, such as entering a new grade or school
Our Approach
Enrollment begins with a subject-specific placement assessment and the development of an individual learning plan with clear instructional goals. Your child then works with the same assigned Bloom tutor throughout the ten-week cycle, building a consistent working relationship that supports both skill growth and confidence.
Because sessions are one-to-one, the tutor can adjust instruction in real time, reteach as needed, and move ahead the moment your child is ready. Each session includes explicit instruction, guided practice, and targeted feedback, and the learning plan is revisited regularly to ensure instruction stays aligned with your child’s progress.
What Your Enrollment Includes
Subject-specific placement assessment. A focused assessment in reading/ELA or math that establishes your child’s starting point.
Individual learning plan. A written plan with clear instructional goals and an agreed set of priorities for the cycle.
A 10-week instructional cycle. A consistent, structured block of one-to-one instruction.
Twenty private online sessions. Two 45-minute sessions each week with your child’s assigned Bloom tutor.
Targeted practice materials. Between-session practice selected specifically for your child’s goals.
A midpoint parent update. A progress report at week five with observations and any adjustments to the plan.
An end-of-cycle progress summary. A written summary of growth and recommendations for next steps.
What Families Can Expect
Your child receives instruction that is fully responsive to how they learn. Families have a direct line of communication with the tutor and receive regular, specific feedback on progress toward the goals set at the start of the cycle.
Each enrollment covers one subject and an agreed set of instructional priorities. Availability is based on tutor schedules.
